Harddisken (The Hard Disk Drive) is a one hour programme on technology which airs every Friday on the Danish Broadcasting Corporation’s talk radio channel P1.
We mainly look at new digital technologies and how they affect our culture, society and daily lives, and cover issues from mobile gaming and RFID-chips to net neutrality and virtual worlds, and much more.
We do interviews – live as well as recorded – longer features, comments on the news, and analysis of the tech world.
We follow Danish and Nordic trends but we also have a strong focus on global technology developments and international innovation.
Harddisken first aired in January 1994 and is one of the longest running shows at the Danish Broadcasting Corp, or DR (Denmark’s Radio) as it is known nationally. DR is a public service organization and is Denmark’s largest broadcaster.
